Launched in 1994 by Julie Baines as a vehicle for the production of bold and innovative feature films, Dan Films has established a strong track record in European co-productions and British independent films.
The company has produced fourteen films to date and through collaborations with consistently high standard and original talent (including Michael Winterbottom, Peter Bogdanovich, Michel Blanc, Christopher Smith and Nicolas Roeg) has cemented its reputation as one of the UK's leading independents.
