JONATHAN TAYLOR PRODUCER

After graduating from the Northern Media School in 2000 with a Masters in Screen Arts, Jonathan worked as a runner for producers Norma Heyman (Dangerous Liaisons, Mrs. Henderson Presents) and Richard Holmes (Shooting Fish, Waking Ned). 
 
In 2001 Jonathan became assistant to Julie Baines, who was then Head of Production at The Film Consortium, one of the UK’s Lottery film finance franchises. Here he assisted in the development and production of a wide variety of films with budgets ranging from €2m to €33m. In 2002, he left The Film Consortium to join Julie Baines at her production company Dan Films.
 
In 2006 Jonathan produced The Sofa, a short film written and directed by Oscar Moore Foundation winner Marcus Shepherd, which premiered at the Edinburgh Film Festival. El Hoppo!, a Spanish comedy short financed by The Hospital and Audi Channel through the Reel Talent Award followed in 2007. Also written and directed by Marcus Shepherd, it was nominated for best short film at the 2008 Reel Shorts Film Festival.
 
Jonathan was recently Associate Producer on Triangle and is currently producing and co-producing a number of features at Dan Films.
